At Ecocycle, we believe it is our duty to inform and educate people about how to act responsibly when it comes to recycling mercury-based materials.

“It’s really important to us to educate the next generation about recycling. Protecting our environment for future generations will mean we can make the world a better place for them.”

– Doug Rowe, Owner of Ecocycle

Learning centre

We are in the process of establishing an innovative learning centre in Victoria, which is expected to be operational soon.

The learning centre will primarily act as an education space where students can learn about recycling in a hands-on environment.

Ecocycle’s learning centre will be the first of its kind in Australia. It will be innovative, at the forefront of the recycling industry and a leader in educating the upcoming generation about responsible recycling. It’s about changing minds and cultures, and empowering our future leaders with new ways of thinking and acting.

The program will be available to all schools and education centres. The facility has an area set aside for bus loads of children of all ages. The learning centre will focus on real positive change in consumption and recycling habits. This powerful and important message will allow the children to pass on the need for change to their parents as well.

The centre will double as a training facility for our sales representatives and clients to ensure they have access to current and relevant information about the recycling services we offer. Governments, councils and leading public company’s have thrown their support behind this facility and welcomed the opportunity to educate their staff about recycling, and what they can do to play their part in protecting our environment for future generations.

The learning centre will be our way of sharing expertise, teaching people about how to protect the planet and, ultimately, is about giving back to the community.

If you have any questions about our learning centre,  like to contribute to its development or would like to book a session please contact us or phone Ecocycle on 1300 32 62 92.
